Diablo Media is seeking an accomplished Director of Business Development, Leads to spearhead the expansion and optimization of our lead generation portfolio. In this role, you will oversee a diverse array of responsibilities, from nurturing existing customer relationships to cultivating new business opportunities across various sectors, including Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, and Mass Torts. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing Diablo Media’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Portfolio Management: Take ownership of an existing portfolio of customers purchasing leads for Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, and Mass Torts. Effectively manage these accounts, foster strong client relationships, and implement strategies to drive account growth and retention.

Product Development Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product team to conceptualize, develop, and launch owned and operated brands and sites aimed at lead generation. Leverage market insights and customer feedback to inform product strategies and ensure alignment with market demand.

New Business Development: Drive the acquisition of new business relationships by prospecting, selling, and cultivating partnerships with lead buyers. Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion into new markets and verticals, utilizing a strategic and consultative approach to sales.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams across the organization to generate traffic and leads through various channels, including the affiliate channel, owned and operated sites, and social media platforms. Coordinate efforts to optimize lead generation strategies and maximize ROI.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in business development, with a focus on lead generation or related fields.
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Exhibits strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to driving business growth.
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Embraces innovation and creativity, with a passion for identifying and capitalizing on emerging market trends and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of lead generation strategies and techniques, with experience in industries such as Social Security Disability, Personal Injury, or Mass Torts preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.

The base salary for this position is $125K per year plus incentive compensation, benefits, and 401k. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. to be considered for this opportunity.
