The Marketing Director is responsible for Diablo Media’s marketing activities and overseeing the development and implementation of a fully integrated marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is a marketing guru with a love of digital marketing, copywriting, and brand management. He/She is passionate about generating revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing campaigns. This position is based out of our Denver headquarters and reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies – including digital marketing campaigns, events, and PR
  • Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
  • Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters, social media)
  • Work closely with the company’s Sales team; enable them to meet their revenue objectives by providing them with appropriate tools and marketing campaigns
  • Work with Art Director to manage and grow the company’s social media presence
  • Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization

Characteristics of Ideal Candidate:

  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Expert knowledge of marketing principles, brand management, and online content strategy and creation
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong creative, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, quick-witted, team environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in Affiliate Marketing and/or Online Performance Marketing Sales
